Bill Matthews
Bill, a co-founder of BraddockMatthews, has over two decades of experience in executive search with an expertise in and focus within the private markets. He has extensive experience recruiting senior investment professionals and non-investment professionals (including roles in investor relations, legal, finance, and business development) for some of the foremost private equity firms involved in all stages of principal investing. Bill also works with a variety of firms that are active in the private equity marketplace, including placement agents, and private equity allocators.
Prior to founding BraddockMatthews, Bill spent more than five years as a senior partner at HigdonBraddockMatthews, and four years as a Managing Director at Conley & Company, where he directed the firm's Alternative Asset search activities. Earlier in his career, Bill worked for nearly a decade as a lawyer and investment banker in Boston. He practiced commercial litigation at several firms, including Goodwin Procter, and worked as an investment banker in the Mergers and Acquisitions practice group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.
Bill is active with several charitable and community organizations, including the local chapter of the JDRF, and with various Yale University alumni committees.
Bill received a BA in History from Yale University and obtained a JD from the University of Wisconsin.
